Evelyn Emanuel graduated from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude, in 2012.
She is an estate planning attorney with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of end of life planning. She believes that a good estate plan is important for many reasons; it gives peace of mind, and can lighten the burden of dealing with the loss of a loved one, it ensures that one’s wishes are carried out, and it minimizes potential strife within families.
Evelyn approaches each client with empathy and understanding, ensuring that their particular needs and wishes are heard and understood. She recognizes the importance of open and honest communication when working with clients.
She is motivated by her belief that proactive planning is the key to preserving wealth, protecting assets, and ensuring a legacy that reflects her clients' values and intentions. She believes that estate plans are important because they are your final statement. It is a way to communicate what was important to you, who you remember, and who you trust.
Evelyn is a member of the Washington State and King County Bar Associations. She belongs to WSBA’s Elder Law section and the Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is on the Editorial Board for WSBA’s publication, The Bar News, and is a volunteer with the Washington First Responder’s Clinic and with KCBA’s Kinship Care program.
